Dr. Kira Pozdnyakova specializes in providing personalized hearing solutions using the latest and most discreet technology available, including the Lyric® invisible extended-wear hearing device. Dr. Pozdnyakova’s areas of expertise include hearing rehabilitation, auditory counseling and retraining therapy, tinnitus management, and dispensing hearing aids and assistive listening technologies for adults. She holds a New York State license in audiology as well as hearing aid dispensing. She has been accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Pozdnyakova completed her residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She previously worked at a private practice in New York City where she dispensed hearing aids and provided hearing care solutions, including customized musicians’ devices, for all populations.

Dr. Ratner was awarded her doctorate in audiology from the top graduate audiology program in the country, Vanderbilt University School of Medicine. She has worked as a research assistant in the Dan Maddox Hearing Aid Research Laboratory at Vanderbilt University, and she completed her externship at the renowned Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Dr. Ratner went on to work at a private practice in Manhattan prior to joining our staff. She is a member of the American Academy of Audiology, accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and a fellow of the Tinnitus Practitioners Association. She has a strong background in diagnostic testing, fitting and verification of hearing aids, counseling and orientation, and auditory rehabilitation. As a music lover and former musician, she enjoys meeting the unique needs of musician’s with hearing loss. In 2017, she was awarded the Rising Stars Top 40 Under 40 award from the Business Council of Westchester.

“My focus has always been to impact the quality of life of my patients by providing them with better hearing. I am grateful that I have the knowledge and have developed expertise in this area over the years to help children and adults of all ages to maximize their hearing ability and communication.”

Dr. O’Shea’s areas of expertise encompass hearing education, patient care, diagnostic testing, counseling, tinnitus management, and the evaluation, fitting, and dispensing of all levels of hearing aid and assistive listening technology for all ages. She began her training at the renowned League for the Hard of Hearing in New York City (now known as the Center for Hearing and Communication) and later served as Senior Audiologist. Dr. O’Shea gained further experience while working at several private audiological practices in New York City and Westchester County. In 1998 she joined the highly regarded private practice Solomon-Shotland Audiology [now Audiology Associates of Westchester] at The Burke Rehabilitation Hospital in White Plains, NY. She has been co-owner of the practice since 2004.

Dr. Skorney has over 30 years of experience working in all aspects of Audiology. Since the early 1980s, she has worked as a staff audiologist in various hospitals in the tri-state area, including Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, St Joseph’s Medical Center in Paterson, NJ, St Vincent’s Medical Center in Staten Island, and as Chief Audiologist at the Burke Rehabilitation Center. For the past 14 years she has worked at the private practice of Audiology Associates of Westchester and became an owner in 2004. Her areas of expertise include audiological diagnostics, hearing aid evaluation, fitting and orientation, counseling, and working and communicating with the profoundly hearing impaired.

Lidis Pacheco has been part of our team since 2006.   Her expertise includes patient care, patient education, counseling, hearing aid evaluations, dispensing of hearing aids, Bluetooth assistive listening devices, and verification of hearing solutions for the adult population. Lidis remains current with all the latest technology developments by actively attending continuing education classes, and seminars. Lidis truly enjoys helping our patients get the most out of their custom hearing care solutions.

Maggie McKeon joined our team in January of 2000, and is responsible for the day-to-day operation and management of our practice. Maggie received her B.S. Degree in Healthcare Administration from Herbert H. Lehman College. Prior to joining our staff, her experience in the healthcare field included Practice Management and Hospital Billing Supervisor positions. Maggie also served as a Medical Billing Instructor for the Herbert H. Lehman College, Adult Education Department.

Maggie has an extensive knowledge of most insurance plans and is always happy to address any patient questions or concerns regarding insurance reimbursement.

Marcy Wendrow joined the team in 2012. She is the friendly voice who will answer your phone calls, schedule appointments, send you batteries, and address any questions you have regarding the practice. Marcy’s previous experience in the field of healthcare includes coordinating home health services, primarily for the pediatric population. She continues to perfect her customer service skills by participating in patient interaction programs. Marcy’s goal is to make sure you have an exceptional experience when you visit or call our office!
