Through building close relationships with patients, I can provide solutions to fit their needs and lifestyle, and improve their ability to hear and communicate more successfully.” 

Dr. Dold is a White Plains native who received her doctorate from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine and completed her residency with Audiology Associates of Westchester. While at Vanderbilt, she worked as a research assistant in a collaboration between the Hearing and Communication Research Lab and Listening and Learning Lab examining listening-related fatigue. She was also awarded a T-35 Traineeship from the NIH and was subsequently published, and completed a traineeship with the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs.

Dr. Dold’s areas of expertise include comprehensive diagnostic testing, counseling and orientation, fitting and verification of hearing aids, and auditory rehabilitation. She has worked with special populations including veterans, individuals with disabilities, and D/deaf individuals. She is highly proficient in American Sign Language and holds a New York State license in Audiology, is accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and is a member of the American Academy of Audiology. 

Dr. Jenna M. Elias, Au.D., F-AAA

“Hearing loss can really affect people’s lives especially if it goes untreated. I became an audiologist as I love reconnecting my patients to their surrounding environments and to what they love. I find it truly rewarding to put hearing aids on my patients and see their eyes light up at how well they are hearing.”

Jenna M. Elias received her Doctor of Audiology degree at the University of Florida and her master’s degree at Hofstra University. She is licensed in New York State as an audiologist and hearing aid dispenser. Dr. Elias worked in various clinical settings including a large ENT practice and Bellevue Hospital in New York City prior to joining the Audiology Associates of Westchester team. Dr. Elias is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and Sigma Pi honor society. She has extensive training in hearing aid dispensing and diagnostic audiology.

Dr. Elise Gallignano, Au.D.

Dr. Gallignano earned her doctorate in audiology from Montclair State University and completed her clinical residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Gallignano went on to work at the nationally ranked Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, MA prior to joining the AAoW team. She is a nationally certified and state-licensed audiologist with professional associations including the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Gallignano is passionate about improving the quality of life of her patients through comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, treatment with amplification and assistive devices, and counseling and rehabilitation.

Dr. April Simmons

Dr. April Simmons earned her Doctor of Audiology degree from Towson University and completed her clinical residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. Her diverse clinical experience spans electrophysiologic and vestibular testing, osseointegrated devices, cochlear implants, and hearing aids.

Mentored by distinguished practitioners in Audiology, Dr. Simmons is nationally certified and state-licensed. She is actively involved with the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and American Academy of Audiology (AAA). Her commitment to advanced hearing healthcare extends to both adult and pediatric populations, where she excels in delivering exceptional patient care. Dr. Simmons’ mission centers on providing comprehensive audiometric assessments, personalized treatments tailored to individual needs, and offering holistic counseling for hearing rehabilitation.

Dr. Kira Savin, Au.D.

Dr. Kira Savin specializes in providing personalized hearing solutions using the latest and most discreet technology available, including the Lyric® invisible extended-wear hearing device. Dr. Savin's areas of expertise include hearing rehabilitation, auditory counseling and retraining therapy, tinnitus management, and dispensing hearing aids and assistive listening technologies for adults. She holds a New York State license in audiology, as well as hearing aid dispensing. She has been accredited by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association and is a fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. Dr. Savin completed her residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. She previously worked at a private practice in New York City where she dispensed hearing aids and provided hearing care solutions, including customized musicians’ devices for all populations. 

Tasha Elkington, M.Sc., M.B.A

Tasha is a proven leader within Healthcare Business management, Executive leadership and overall process re-engineering. Along with her MBA in Strategic Leadership, she is also a certified Master Black Belt in Lean and Six Sigma/Functional re-engineering and Chemical Engineer. With this, she has developed and implemented many strategic initiatives throughout her tenure, which have garnered companies millions in revenue. Some of her areas of focus include strategic development and implementation, service center management, work force management & refinement, healthcare operations, financial DSO productivity and enterprise web application deployment. Tasha has developed and implemented several training platforms for coaching and mentoring Lean and Six Sigma belts.
 
Prior to her executive position at Audiology Associates of Westchester/California Hearing Center, Tasha served as the COO at iBRAIN & Executive Director at Medex DTC. As a Master Black Belt manager with Horizon BCBSNJ, and similarly at Stamford Hospital, she managed initiatives which reduced patient length of stay, improved patient outcomes and standardized enterprise supply chain management.
 
Tasha’s introduction to USA began with Ecolab where she performed in different areas of responsibility, including the New York District Sales and Service Manager and National Mining Manager within the Australasia region. During this time, Tasha was responsible for several departments including Research & Development, Quality, Sales, Service and Marketing. Tasha managed some of the largest and most complex business units as one of its first female District Area Mangers. Tasha has received several awards for her proficient work performance and was recognized by the State of New Jersey and New York-New Jersey Restaurant Association as an ambassador for pioneering women within the Scientific Food Service Industry.
 
Tasha holds her MSc in Applied Sciences (Chemical Engineering and Psychology) from Curtin University of Technology (Western Australia) and an MBA from Villanova University. She has also completed her Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt and Black Belt certification.

Jennifer Tarlton joined Audiology Associates of Westchester in December 2022. She brings a multi-faceted knowledge in both management and administrative support fields. Jennifer provides the practice with financial, insurance administration and personnel management. She is charged with onboarding the new employees and ensuring the staff has what they need to provide the care and attention for all the patients. Jennifer also assists in establishing efficient and effective systems and processes, which result in patient satisfaction, employee and provider engagement and strong financial performance. Jennifer was drawn to a career in healthcare because both of her parents had successful and satisfying careers within the medical and mental healthcare industry. She is dedicated to bringing her knowledge and skills to a practice that truly enhances and makes a difference in its patients' lives.

Outside of work, Jennifer enjoys travel and is an avid runner.

Alicia Rivera (Front Office Manager) has been part of the Audiology Associates of Westchester team since 2014. Alicia is responsible for moving the patients through the intake and checkout process. Her previous position at a large practice prepared her well for providing you with an excellent patient experience.
